After obtaining additional education and licenses, I decided to reinvent my business to provide holistic planning. I now render comprehensive financial planning including tax, estate, investment, insurance and retirement planning. I My goal is to help clients set and pursue their goals.
I began my career working for a large national accounting firm principally in Florida. From this position and to accommodate my family life, I joined a local CPA firm and moved to partner status. As life changed and my spouse accepted work at East Carolina University, I established my CPA practice in Greenville, NC. As my practice grew, so did my community involvement. I have been active in the Pitt-Greenville Chamber of Commerce, Greater Greenville Kiwanis, Eastern North Carolina Estate Planning Council, Women's Business Owners, Women's Network, Licensed Independent Network of CPA Financial Planners, NC State Board of Accountants, NC Association of CPA, American Institute of CPAs. I was the 1997 Greenville Small Business Leader of the Year. I have assisted with many non-profit organizations including March of Dimes, Children's Miracle Network of Pitt County, Women's Conferences, Campaign for the Arts, Boys and Girls Club, East Carolina University Pirate Club, School of Business ECU, PCC Accounting Advisory Board, Pitt County Family Violence, Greenville Museum of Art, West Greenville Community Development Center, City of Greenville Foundation, NC SBDTC, and ECU Financial Management Association.
